BESPOKE APPS · NASHVILLE, TN
A private app the people who matter most to your work keep on their phone — built for one, owned outright, no template underneath.

The premise
The people who matter most to your work — the clients you sold to, the audience that keeps showing up — live inside your world for years. And the only thing most of them get from you is a broadcast list. Meanwhile every peer in your category rents the same white-labeled app. Yours is built from scratch, for one of you, for the people on the other end.
What we mean by a private app
A companion your people actually open — the numbers that matter to them, the moments worth remembering, the people you trust, carried under your name.
You own the app, the code, the brand, and the relationship inside it. No shared template. No per-seat fee to a platform that keeps your people on its list.
Built around the specific questions and moments your people actually have — not a national feature set designed to serve everyone and belong to no one.
Two questions
Every commission starts with two questions about the app your people will carry.
What do you want your app to be?
The answer is different for every person we sit with. A companion for a listing. A lifelong concierge for past clients. A private room for your most loyal audience. A record of something a family will keep for a generation. There is no menu here — only your answer, drawn out carefully, and then built.
What do you want your people to hold?
The phone is the most intimate real estate a brand can occupy. An icon on a home screen is a promise renewed every time it is seen. We spend our first hours together deciding what that promise should be, and what someone should feel the moment they open it.
Who we build for
These are the two worlds we know best. But the door is open to anyone whose work is built around a long relationship with a specific group of people.
For real estate
For top agents and brokers who refuse to hand clients the same white-labeled template every other agent in town resells.

For influencers
For creators who are tired of renting their relationship from a feed. A private app your most loyal people open because it's yours.

For the rare few
If your work is built around a long relationship with a specific group of people, we should talk. No template, no category required.

The credo
Five things we believe about taste, before we build anything.
Every brief starts the same way: hours of listening. Your story, your people, the way you speak to them, what you refuse to sell. The app is a portrait — it cannot be tasteful and generic at the same time.
Anyone can add. The discipline is knowing what to remove, and then removing more. The final product is what survived the deletions.
Every radius, every pause, every word carries a signature. People cannot always name what feels considered — but they always feel the difference between made and assembled.
The seam inside the drawer. The weight of the tap. The one screen no one else would bother to design. This is where a product earns the right to be trusted.
Every feature we do not ship is a feature that would have made the good ones quieter. What we say no to is how you can tell what we mean.
The commissioning
The way a Savile Row suit is fitted. The way a custom home is built. Five steps, in order, together.
Read the full commissioning →A conversation, not a discovery call. We decide together whether the fit is right.
You choose your type, your color, your motion — the way you'd choose finishes for a custom home.
A working prototype, on a real iPhone. We refine it in your hand, together.
Your app, live in the App Store, under your name. Announcement kit included.
Your personal software consultant, on retainer. One number, one builder.
The atelier

App Atelier is Matt Amick — a product builder crafting bespoke client apps, personally, from a small studio in Nashville, Tennessee. One builder, one direct line, the way private banking used to work.
